Ketika customer diutamakan….

Minggu lalu, saya diajak temen saya mengikuti “Internet Marketing Workshop” di Sheraton Hotel,Independence.Seminar, plus dinner dan a nice organizer SEMUANYA gratisss.. hmmm *bingung*.

We thought, wow.. they spent a lot of money to get us there, then there must be something behind it.Tapi saya dan teman saya tetap berangkat.

Seminar dibagi jadi tiga session: Why internet marketing? Why they made the event? Why you are here?

Di session yang kedua nih, mereka mulai kasih introduction tentang company mereka and why they made that event. .. (disini sudah mulai keliatan, orang2 sedikit resah takut disuruh beli barang atau apalah… )

Ternyata session ini sangat menarik !! karena…

Mereka ini adalah a hosting company,yang mana paket hosting nya sudah termasuk web design, layanan konsultasi online , shopping cart, integrated UPS system, dan dukungan lainnya yang intinya business owner can jump start their online business in no time.

Mereka mengadakan seminar ini krn pertama,mereka ingin meng-introduce business using internet, to educate people on how to do online business including to do marketing strategy, set up marketing goals, increase and drive traffic, and most importantly to grow their business. Principle mereka adalah to educate first.Karena jika customer mereka sukses, tentu mereka akan terus hosting website tersebut.

Disini saya sudah mulai merasa tersentuh… saya benar2 bisa merasakan bahwa mereka mengutamakan customer mereka. .. to tell you the truth…THAT’S a very good start…

Tapiii niihhh.. kemudian mereka bilang, semua workshop itu akan diberikan minggu depan di Renaissance Hotel, 1 day seminar. ** again, semua orang keliatannya punya pikiran yang sama— berapa nih harganya, pasti seminar yang ini musti bayar mahal**

Presenter nya meminta kita menebak brp harga untuk mengikuti seminar tersebut, banyak yang menebak $50 – $200… hmm and you know what??? ternyata biayanya $20 saja…

oh my god.. that’s crazy.. kemudian mereka bicara bahwa, mereka tahu bahwa banyak yang takut jika setelah mengikuti seminar ini nanti didesak untuk membeli paket hosting tersebut… dan mereka bilang jangan khawatir, jika anda tertarik silahkan kalau engga pun gak apa2.., they said “We hope that you would not forget us, because we are the one who educates you, the one who wants to see you success in online business, so if you decide to start an online business, please consider us to be you partner, if you know somebody who might need our service, please let them know about us- and that’s all we asked”

It’s very interesting to see them able to win people heart because they care about their customer (or even potential customer) first.

I wouldn’t surprise jika banyak peserta seminar akan berakhir menjadi customer mereka.

Show that you care about your customer first, business will follow
